Two Hour Introductory Drum Lesson

Are you ready to learn to play the drums and looking to unleash your inner drummer? Experienced drum instructor offering a personalised two-hour lesson in Grassington as part of the Grassington Devonshire Institute fund raising auction.  I am a passionate and experienced drum instructor offering a personalized lesson, whether you're a complete beginner, a seasoned player looking to refine your technique, or just fancy a couple hours of fun.
I will share some of my many (too many to dwell on) years of drumming experience playing swing, jazz, rock, blues and pop music with the successful bidder.  
The session is provisionally planned to be at the GDI (Town Hall) to enable use of a choice of acoustic or electronic drum kits and to enable playing along to backing tracks of your favourite tunes.
Learn the basics, improve your technique, or explore new musical horizons, or even take your drumming skills to the next level?
It will be fun!

Beekeeping Experience.

Spend a few hours buzzing with a local beekeeper learning more about honeybees. You will help to inspect one of the hives and can try tasting the honey. You could make a frame or two for the hive and maybe some beeswax candles. 
This can be for one or two people which could be two adults, or an adult and a child with a minimum age of 7.
In Grassington or Threshfield.  Weather dependant. The length of
time can be varied to suit your needs. An afternoon is better as the bees are more active.

The Snake Walk in Grassington is a historic path, formerly used by mill workers to travel to and from Linton Mill. It's a winding footpath with high stone walls, leading to Linton Falls and the River Wharfe. The path runs from located in Grassington, near the Yorkshire Dales National Park to Linton Falls.

A half day paddle boarding experience on a local waterway for 2 or more persons. 

Neil and Sharron offer the use of our 2 paddle boards, with all equipment including life jackets, for a fun session where hopefully you will master sitting kneeling and standing on safe and stable 12-foot Bluefin Cruise boards. 

We are not qualified instructors but are experienced in water sports. We will help and assist to get you up and paddling. 

You need to be confident in water and a good swimmer, but no previous paddle boarding experience is necessary. 

Date and location to suit weather, water conditions and mutual availability, as soon as possible this year. We do not use wet suits, just swim gear, so probably June onwards.

Help and advice from qualified Engineer Neil Harrison on any structurally orientated building matter. 

This could relate to removal of walls within or extensions to your property, conversion of a barn, cracking, settlement or movement within any structure, discussions on the feasibility of a planned project, or a visual structural survey of a property pre-purchase.
