Equality & Diversity policy

GDI is committed to promoting equality and diversity and providing an inclusive and supportive environment for all.

We seek to ensure that our employees, volunteers, and all user groups of the Town hall are treated equally regardless of race, colour, nationality, ethnic origin, religious or political belief, age, gender, disability or socio-economic background.

We seek to ensure that all using our facilities are treated with dignity and respect and that these are in turn afforded to our staff.

We endeavour to provide facilities and opportunities for all by ensuring our services are accessible to all and actively seek to encourage underrepresented groups, for example, work to include more children/young families and support for new activities such as Pride in The Dales.
