This year’s eclectic mix of performances means there is something for everyone to enjoy. Our main programme boasts some exclusive performances from artists that normally perform in much larger venues, like Clare Teal and Andy Parsons, plus, first-class speakers Mick Doran and Rowena Harker-Leder. Our theatrical offering comes from Gerard Logan performing his critically acclaimed play about Oscar Wilde whilst the rest of the main programme offers delights such as a tribute to Sondheim, classical choral singing from the captivating Jervaulx Singers and the ever-popular Organ Recital at Hebden. We even have a day of comedy, just for kids with workshops and shows for them to get involved with.
For those yearning for a field festival vibe, we round off the week with everyone’s favourites Cable Street Collective, with the finale to the fortnight kicking off with Swedish rock goddesses Baskery, and ending with the legend that is Doctor and The Medics.
Our fringe programme offers performances from new and up and coming artists. We have music from the award-winning Issy Walsh and highly acclaimed rising folk stars, The Drystones. Dance performances and Poetry from ACCAcollab, Ryan B Tomlin and Tony Peek and comedy in the guise of festival favourite The Scottish Falsetto Sock Puppets.
We are also thrilled to have the debut performance of a brand new one-act musical, “Last Night”.
